It’s purpose built for… you guessed it, meetings. With a dedicated video conference system that tracks, schedules and supports 25-person Hangouts sessions –  worldwide – it has 2 built-in stereo speakers, 4 microphones and an adjustable HD camera. Even if attendees don’t have a Gmail account, they’re welcome to join with guest access.

We’re of course referring to notifications which track the health of your fleet of Chrome devices, as well as being able to remotely troubleshoot any problems that might occur; such as bandwidth, video and even audio quality. The interface can be customised, with personalised background images and on top of all that, the system is secure, self updating and easy to manage.


Acer Chromebase for meetings costs £675 (€890) for the device and the first year of management – plus support fees – with a Intel Celeron processor and 4GB of RAM.
